At Polokwane Provincial Hospital, LEMEG tackled the complex challenge of designing and delivering the first Provincial Hybrid Cardiothoracic Theatre, a groundbreaking facility that enables minimally invasive procedures by integrating surgical and interventional techniques guided by advanced fluoroscopy imaging. This sophisticated environment required seamless coordination of technologies and spaces to accommodate multidisciplinary teams of surgeons, interventionalists, echocardiographers, and anesthesiologists working together under a single anesthetic. Our role spanned every phase of the project, from inception and concept development to construction administration, technical inspections, and quality control, ensuring a cutting-edge solution that sets a new standard in healthcare architecture.
